Slip Rings are a part of the rotor circuit that transfer DC power to the rotor from the stationary brushes by the voltage regulator. Due to corrosion and use slip rings can get covered in carbon and result in various shutdown faults or inconsistent power resulting in flickering lights.

Liquid cooled generators have coolant like your car that over time degrades and can cause issues internally to the engine with corrosion. Each manufacturer has listed hours a coolant flush should happen. (*Pricing varies on size of generator)
Battery Replacement
A battery is part of the starting system and they typically last 3-5 years . During our generator major and minor visits we perform a CCA test on the generator to ensure a battery isnt the result of your generator not being there when you need it . We carry batteries on our vans for a variety of generators.

Concrete Pad
Many times we come across generators installed directly on dirt or in poorly designed wood boxes. Overtime they settle and cause the gas and electrical lines to become tensioned or the generator is out of level that can lead to engine issues with the lubrication system. During our major and minor visits we check the generators for being level , gas and electrical lines .
